At Swarnam Charities, we believe that education is not just a right—it’s a powerful catalyst for transformation. Our institutions provide completely free, quality education to children from underprivileged and marginalized backgrounds. We support their academic journey from the ground up—ensuring access to structured learning, nutritious meals, essential supplies, and emotional development.
Each child enrolled in our care receives school essentials including books, uniforms, and stationery—removing all financial barriers to learning. But our mission extends beyond academics. Through creative activities, storytelling, play, and personal mentoring, we aim to shape confident, compassionate, and responsible future citizens.
The learning environments we create are safe, inclusive, and nurturing, designed especially for first-generation learners and children from vulnerable families. We also engage parents through regular orientation sessions, bridging the gap between home and learning

Healing Communities with Compassionate Care

Access to basic healthcare remains a major challenge in underserved communities. Swarnam Charities is bridging this gap by organizing free medical camps, distributing essential medicines, and connecting patients with specialist consultations and government health schemes.
Our camps are designed to serve all age groups—from infants to the elderly— and cover general health check-ups, eye screening, dental care, women’s health, and chronic disease management (like diabetes, BP, and asthma). We also distribute sanitary kits, nutritional supplements, and first-aid essentials to help families maintain hygiene and wellness at home.
We collaborate with local doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and health educators who volunteer their time to serve the community. In remote slums and villages, our health vans make door-to-door visits to ensure that even the most marginalised receive care.
In addition to curative services, our focus is also on preventive healthcare, through awareness sessions on nutrition, personal hygiene, mental health, and early disease detection.

Food is a basic human right, yet thousands go hungry every day. Swarnam Charities works tirelessly to combat hunger by distributing cooked meals, grocery kits, and nutrition packs to children, senior citizens, migrant workers, and families in crisis.
Our team prepares and delivers hot meals daily to individuals living in slums,on the streets, and in temporary shelters. These meals are prepared with hygiene, care, and cultural preferences in mind. We also run community kitchens in collaboration with local temples and community halls.
During festivals or national holidays, we organise special food drives so that the less fortunate can also celebrate with dignity. We regularly distribute dry ration kits that include rice, pulses, oil, spices, salt, tea, and basic hygiene items.

Elderly & Differently-Abled Care

Our elders and differently-abled individuals are often forgotten in fastpaced society. Swarnam Charities ensures they are not left behind. We offer comprehensive care for the elderly and people with physical or mental disabilities—through home support, medical assistance, assistive devices, and counselling.
We conduct monthly home visits to provide food, adult diapers, wheelchairs, walking sticks, and medicines. Many of them live alone or with limited support, so we ensure they have not just physical but also emotional care. Our volunteers also organise story sessions, yoga, cultural activities, and companionship time, which significantly improves their mental health and reduces isolation.

Standing Strong in Crisis — Rapid Relief & Recovery
“In times of crisis, every second matters.”
Natural disasters, personal tragedies, and unexpected emergencies can bring life to a standstill. Swarnam Charities responds quickly to help families regain stability. Our rapid relief program provides emergency food, clean water, shelter materials, clothes, and medical kits to those affected by floods, fires, storms, or displacement.
During monsoon flooding, our teams braved waterlogged slums to provide essentials and rescue support. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we distributed over 2,500 food packets, 1,500 hygiene kits, and oxygen support for families.
We also offer emotional trauma counselling for children and adults who’ve faced loss, violence, or abuse. After the immediate crisis, we support with rebuilding homes, school materials, and livelihood restoration.
